Hilfiger To Show Men’s Collections in London and New York

As the buzz around this year’s menswear collections starts to build, Tommy Hilfiger has announced that it will be showing its offerings, which include tailored, sportswear and underwear, in both London and New York. The brand’s Spring 2016 Menswear collection will be debuted at New York Fashion Week: Men’s in July, preceded by London Collections: Men in June.

“Menswear has evolved tremendously over the past 30 years, and I look forward to continue supporting men’s fashion in both cities this season,” Hilfiger said in a press release. “I am excited to have the platform to bring a greater spotlight to our men’s tailored and underwear collections — particularly in light of our announcement of Rafael Nadal as the global brand ambassador for the Tommy Hilfiger underwear and Tommy Hilfiger tailored collections beginning this fall,” he added.

While the brand has previously held dinners in London to mark its lines, this is the first time that it will actually be showing a collection in the British capital. Meanwhile the New York outing for the new menswear range is set to take place on July 15 in a specially built offsite showroom location. Hilfiger will join other brands, such as Calvin Klein Collection, Michael Kors, Rag & Bone, Public School, Billy Reid, Todd Snyder, Michael Bastian, Ovadia & Sons, Robert Geller, Duckie Brown, Patrik Ervell, Timo Weiland and Kent & Curwen, who will also be participating in the men’s shows. Meanwhile The Daily Front Row will be hosting the first ever annual Men’s Fashion Awards, set to celebrate the cream of the crop in the menswear industry.
