JAYA: Now at The Setai Miami Beach, Jaya is Executive Chef Mathias Gervais’ newest Asian-inspired concept – and this Christmas Eve, it’s celebrating the season with a 4-course menu of merriment and delight. Start your meal with Foie Gras or Kumomoto Oysters, and move on to Pekin Duck Consommé, Wagyu Short Rib Gyoza, Maine Lobster, Roasted Turkey and more. Can’t eat meat? With options like Green Papaya Salad, Tom Kha Veg and Tofu Claypothis, this ultra-luxury hotel has vegetarians taken care of, too. To end the night on a sweet note, indulge in the chef’s Almond Bread Pudding, Tarte Tatin or Red Velvet Cake, and wake up on Christmas morning happier than ever before. SUSHISAMBA MIAMI BEACH: For another Christmas Eve dinner with an Asian twist, SUSHISAMBA Miami Beach might be just what you need. For just $169 a person, a group of five or less can indulge in a carved Whole Roasted Suckling Pig served tableside, accompanied by Yuzu-Honey Sweet Potatoes, Sake Braised Swiss Chard and Crispy Bok Choy with Apple Blossom. Choose two of SUSHISAMBA’s signature, family-style desserts, add a Magnum bottle of Dewatsuru Kimoto Junmai Sake and unlimited Cusqueña beer ($150 per group, for the alcohol), and wrap up 2015 smiling. THE DUTCH: Located inside South Beach’s iconic W South Beach Hotel & Residences, The Dutch has something planned for Miami’s finest this Christmas. For just $45 per person, head to the restaurant on either day and enjoy tasty dishes like roasted Muscovy duck served with a side of pastilla, butternut squash, quinoa, turnips, and spiced jus, and end the feast by indulging in Executive Pastry Chef Josh Gripper’s salted caramel custard with gingerbread cookie and caramelized citrus, or molten chocolate cake with almond nougatine and candy cane ice cream. Either way, you can’t go wrong. The Dutch is located inside W South Beach Hotel & Residences, at 2201 Collins Avenue. For just $75 per person, head to this popular hotel restaurant on either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, and indulge in a three-course holiday-inspired prix-fixe menu of Beausoliel oysters with Petrossian caviar and a cucumber-ginger mignonette; and pan-roasted duck breast served with applewood smoked bacon, celery root puree and huckleberry jus. Follow it up with a yule log topped with vanilla cream, cherry jelly, and flourless chocolate sponge, and you and your family are sure to have one, very merry Christmas.
