Armararium

Members-only designer clothing rental service Armarium is popping up with their “Armi” of stylists for Art Basel in The Raleigh hotel’s Tiger Room November 29th – December 3. So, the ladies who Basel can walk in, meet the stylists and learn about the service outside of their New York showroom. So what is Armarium exactly? A mobile app and web-based service allowing members to rent ready-to-wear clothing and accessories founded by two fashion industry veterans, Trisha Gregory and Alexandra Lind Rose.

While Rent the Runway and other such services do already exist,  Armarium is unique for their selection of more avant garde and statement pieces as well as access to more than 35 stylists available for hire. Fashion magazines have been heralding the new company since it’s opening in spring of 2016 because many of the straight-off-the-runway pieces are not always available to purchase through traditional retailers.  The collection stays fresh by being constantly updated.  Emilio Pucci, Etro, Ferragamo, Haider Ackermann, Jimmy Choo, Marchesa, Naeem Khan, Roberto Cavalli, Vera Wang and have partnered with Armarium to offer runway collections on loan. This provides customers with the opportunity to experience high-fashion by offering a luxury experience and product without the high price tag.
If you’re ready to go a step further they can book an appointment with a stylist by emailing stylist@armarium.com. The Armarium pop-up will be at the Raleigh through December 3. Open every day from 10am to 7pm.
