Need social media fodder? You’ll find it in spades in the lobbies, bars and terraces at these Instagram-worthy hotels in Chicago.

1 London House

London House, which opened in 2016, is as pretty as a picture top-to-bottom, but our favorite spot to strike a pose has to be the bar areas upstairs. LH21 features custom wood-veneer wallcoverings from Chicago-based Maya Romanoff that make the perfect backdrop for a selfie, while one floor up, LH on 22 offers panoramic views of the Chicago River and the Mag Mile.

2 The Robey

The Robey, in Wicker Park, is also a new addition to the city's hotel scene, but a welcome one at that. If you haven't yet checked out the hotel's rooftop pool bar, Cabana Club, clear your weekend plans before summer's over because it's like a slice of Miami on Milwaukee Avenue. The pool itself is for guests only, but photos in front of the pool on the other hand, are open to all.

3 Ace Hotel Chicago

Chicago's own Ace Hotel, smack in the heart of the West Loop, is as hip as its 'hood. What could be more photo-worthy than the space's midcentury-industrial decor? A shot of your coffee from the first Stumptown Coffee Roasters in the Midwest, located on the property.

4 The Talbott Hotel

The Talbott's complete rehab concluded in the spring and this once-dated Gold Coast classic is now one of the prettiest properties in town. The hotel still has a vintage-inspired feel, but with a far more stylish, far less stuffy spin.

5 The Ritz Carlton, Chicago

After spending a whopping $100 million on a renovation over the last few years, the Ritz Carlton can claim a rightful spot on a list of photo-happy properties in Chicago. One of the best updates to a the space, which hadn't been completely renovated since the 1970s: a copper clad bar, now a focal point of the property's public spaces.
