It’s easier to just write a check and be done with it, but the local headliners who did collaborate with Hakkasan Group at OMNIA Nightclub knew it was more about the numbers. It was about uniting in a time of much needed comradery, support, and healing. The Benefit Concert in honor of the Vegas tragedy and victims was…all love.
Say what you want about electronic dance music, but it was one of the few and first genres in music to gather in response to the tragic event that took place in Las Vegas on October 1 at Route 91.

Tiësto, Zedd, Kaskade, Steve Aoki, Party Favor, Cash Cash, Nghtmre, and more played in the main dance room Wednesday, Nov. 1.
Lil Jon, FAED, Turbulence, Crooked, NEVA and OB One performed at Heart of OMNIA. Bojo from Vegas’ Q 100.5 was one of two hypemen and announcers of the night next to UFC’s official Octagon announcer Bruce Buffer.

Steve Aoki did the unimaginable. Guess who he brought out in the middle of his set? Céline Dion. Wait. Let me try that again. CÉLINE FREAKING DION. She performed a rendition of her class song “My Heart Will Go On.”
The Benefit Concert lasted well into early hours of the next morning. Hakkasan Group and the artists that performed raised over a million dollars through generous donations, ticket sales, and all other revenue earned throughout the night. It is being donated to the Las Vegas Victims Fund, via the Direct Impact Fund.

In recognition of their heroic efforts, hard work, and dedication to the community, Hakkasan Group also hosted a private dinner for a number of the city’s first responders at Searsucker inside Caesars Palace.

The Benefit Concert wasn’t just about money. It was a reminder that this is what humanity is supposed to look like. This is a reflection of love trumping hate. This is what Las Vegas means when it proudly says “Vegas Strong.” It’s not just a slogan on a t-shirt; it’s a lifestyle and mentality. Coincidentally, OMNIA itself means “love conquers all,” and it looks like OMNIA lived up to its name that night.
