Today, the youngest brother’s life is focused on an unwavering purpose and inspirational passion both on and off the court. His YounGameChanger Foundation provides families with seriously and chronically ill children with encouragement and life-changing experiences as Smart acts as a voice of motivation, empowerment and encouragement to inner city young athletes to be game changers off the court or field.

How did the opportunity for a basketball player come up to host a bowling bash?
It was a fun way to raise money, and I love bowling.
Tell us about some of the most memorable experiences you have had through the YounGameChanger Foundation.
Whenever I visit kids and put smiles on their faces, it’s memorable, especially at Boston Children’s Hospital.

What do you love most about playing in Boston?
The energy of the fans. Every city goes off, but there is nothing like Boston.
What would you like your legacy to be in Boston?
Hard worker, down to earth and community focused.
