The Setai, a name synonymous with luxury and elegance, has been a fixture for the most discerning clientelle in Miami Beach since its opening in 2005. Following its formula to provide an oasis amidst the bustling city life, The Setai moved its sights to the epicenter of the US: the financial district of New York City. In the January/February 2007 issue of Haute Living, we introduced an exclusive article featuring the plans for the Setai New York.

As the popularity of the New York Setai grows exponentially, The Setai Group will once again bring its East-meets-West ambiance to another active American city: San Diego. As we reported, The Setai New York is set to be an solely condominiums, foregoing the hotel aspect that appears in the Miami locale while adding dynamic features to reflect the ever-changing Manhattan lifestyle.

While the issue of whether or not The Setai San Diego will include condominiums with the hotel is still up in the air, it is apparent that the 23-story downtown building will continue to uphold The Setai Group’s standard of opulence. With The House of Blues as a developer and designs by famed hotel designer Dodd Mitchell, The Setai San Diego units will be outfit with the most sumptuous Italian furniture with imported stone and marble accenting the interior perfectly.

Units will range in price from $400,000 to $3.8 million, and no expense will be spared to create an ideal sanctuary. Via Luxist
