Along with the news comes a massive piece of luck for Angelenos seeking to purchase the sleek and eco-friendly ride: Los Angeles County is one of eight destinations in the U.S. (excluding two in Canada) where you’ll actually be able to buy it.

Wealthy L.A. residents—or those who just really need to have some Karma in their lives—can pop into the Rusnak Auto Group’s Pasadena facility on Sept. 8 to make the purchase.

The vehicle, called the Revero, is a four-door sedan that runs on both gasoline and electricity. Each Revero is unique: all feature individually crafted details like hand-painted badges on the front and rear of every vehicle.  It will be the first car sold in the U.S. with a solar roof that acts as a battery charger. Its innovation doesn’t stop there: the SoCal auto company will be sending existing Karma owners exclusive access to a website that will allow them to purchase the Revero before it becomes widely available in September.

Karma Automotive is the company founded from the failed Fisker Automotive, which filed for bankruptcy in 2013 before being acquired by Chinese auto parts company Wanxiang Group Corp. for roughy $150 million in 2014.The Revero was created from the remains of the Fisker Karma (hence the name).

The new Revero is being built at a factory in Moreno Valley in Riverside County; the company’s first store will be in Orange County, although the location has not been revealed. Given that the company is based in nearby Costa Mesa, it makes sense to have chosen Laguna Beach as its debut location.

If you don’t live in L.A., here are the seven additional U.S. and two Canadian retail locations where you’ll be able to find the Revero via independent retailers come fall: Atlanta, Chicago, Fort Worth, Miami, Philadelphia, Detroit and West Palm Beach, Fla., along with dealers in Montreal and Toronto.
