Jay Young, MD is a board-certified surgeon specializing in the nose and sinuses. His expertise includes facial plastic surgery such that he can treat medical and cosmetic conditions related to the nose and face. International patients, particularly from Mexico City, Brazil, Central America, and the Caribbean, have flown to visit Dr. Young in Miami to seek minimally invasive treatments that are often not offered in their respective countries.
Dr. Jay Young, MD was graduated from Tulane University with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. From there, he earned a full-tuition scholarship to medical school. Dr. Young then completed his internship and residency in otolaryngology head and neck surgery at the prestigious Vanderbilt University Medical Center. This residency program is generally regarded as one of the best and the department is ranked in the top ten in the country by US News. While there he trained with some of the national leaders in all avenues of the head, neck, and facial surgery. He also earned one of the highest scores in the country on the training examination, scoring in the highest 9th stanine.

I had forgotten what it was like to breathe clearly and easily until I met Dr. Young! I have had intense allergies for decades, repetitive sinus infections, chronic sinusitis, and anosmia. He took the time to listen to my story, my concerns, and answer all my questions thoroughly. He then recommended a Balloon Sinuplasty procedure. It is a safe and effective option for patients that are not responding well to medications and are seeking relief from uncomfortable sinus issues. The procedure was conducted in Dr. Young’s office under local anesthesia. It was fast, painless, and above all, it has considerably improved my quality of life! Now, I can finally smell, breathe, no more stuffy nose, no more nasal polyps, no more headaches, no more endless morning sneezing. This doctor is the best ent doctor. He can be your true firend and lifesaver. I've had very rare surgery with him on my left ear and the outcome was very successful. He is an excellent doctor. Dr. Young brought me allergy relief after I had wasted years with a so-called "expert." He asks questions and he listens. Dr. Young is up to-date with changes in research read more... and diagnostic techniques, which benefits me as a patient. As an aside, he is also masterful with cosmetic fillers. Here, too, he helped me fix a problem that my dermatologist couldn't. I walked out of his North Miami office with no bruising, no cuts, no bandaids, and am thrilled with the result.
