Dr. Russell Babbitt is a Plastic Surgeon in private practice in Southeastern Massachusetts and is certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery. He offers the full scope of plastic surgery of the breast, body, and face, with a special interest in complex aesthetic breast surgery and revision aesthetic breast surgery.
After receiving his Medical Degree from the University of Massachusetts in 2003, he continued at UMass Medical Center for internship and residency in General Surgery and completed his fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery there in 2010.
In addition to his clinical experience, Dr. Babbitt has done research in the areas of microsurgery, human anatomy, limb reconstruction, complex models of wound healing, and abdominal wall reconstruction. Dr. Babbitt co-authored a textbook chapter as well as several journal articles and has presented at regional, national, and international conferences.
Dr. Babbitt is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The Aesthetic Society, the New England Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the Massachusetts Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is currently an officer for the New England Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Dr. Babbitt’s hobbies (other than surgery!) include photography, sculpture, and illustration, but his favorite way to pass time is traveling and exploring the world with his wife and four children.

I cannot express how happy I am with my decision to go with Dr Babbitt - he was phenomenal , made me feel so confident in my choice he didn’t sugar coat anything and gave me exactly what I was looking for! I used this site to make my decision regarding a procedure I have been wanting for a good six years. My breasts were naturally saggier than most women, with larger areolas. I had been sized in Bras for a 32DDD/34DD. I loved my breast size, but I felt very self conscious about their droopiness and my pointing down nipples. Dr. Babbitt and his whole team made me feel at ease and comfortable. He met with me no matter how many times I needed to speak with him regarding my procedure. His office always promptly answered my questions and made my appointments through text, call and email. This was the most stress free, confidence boosting and easy procedure, and I am glad I chose Dr. Babbitt. Dr. Babbitt is my first choice in every aspect because of the amazing service of himself and his whole staff. If you are deciding doctors, Dr. Babbitt has the results and the best staff to guide you through it.
Dr. Babbitt takes his time explaining everything to you. He won't do things the he feels are risky, so right then I also knew he was trustworthy and he was a patients first, money second doctor. Not only is he. bright and kind and knowledgeable. He is an absolute artist. I had a breast lift and tummy tuck. My breast were a bit of a challenge and instead of him just wanting to throw implants in because that would be easiest and what other doctors suggested. He took the time to really listen to what I wanted and they came out amazing. I couldn't be more please how my tummy tuck and lift came out. He is a true artist. I highly recommend.
Everything about my experience has been great. Dr babbit is approachable, perceptive, and totally accommodating. His staff is also very friendly. On the day of my procedure, I decided to tweak the original plan with anesthesia and he was completely understanding of it. I am 6 days out and I am amazed by the results already. Little sign of any surgical incisions, minimal bruising, and my family is also extremely impressed with the results. I only had 1-2 days of real discomfort. I can't imagine how much better it will look once the swelling is completely gone! I also found the procedure affordable. Highly recommend.
After 10 years of having saline breast implants it was time for them to go. I was feeling discomfort and had the beginning of capsular contracture. My physician immediately recommended Dr. Russell Babbitt and I'm so glad she did! Dr. Babbitt, his PA Christina De Vincent and the whole staff are so Phenomenal (with a capital P). Dr. Babbit knew exactly what I wanted out of the surgery and he absolutely delivered. I am a little over 3 months post op, I'm doing great and I'm happy, happy, happy!!!!
