My greatest achievement:

My greatest achievement is simply just balancing life while maintaining a steady drive and passion to provide the utmost care for my patients. I have found it imperative to be intentional in growing as an individual spiritually, mentally, and physically while continuously staying up to date on the most current treatments in the fast-paced field of allergy & immunology.

The future of my field is:

Immunology and immune target therapies towards chronic conditions such as asthma and various diseases of the skin.

The biggest misconception about my field is:

Allergist strictly deal with seasonal allergies! Allergy/immunology is such a vast field encompassing the treatment and management of an extensive spectrum of allergic, respiratory and skin disorders in both adults and children, including asthma, seasonal allergies/hay fever, sinus problems, postnasal drip, chronic cough, recurrent infections, immunologic diseases, rashes, hives, angioedema, eczema, as well as food and drug allergies.

My most requested procedures are:

Allergy testing for environmental allergens, foods, drugs, metal patch testing, as well as desensitization procedures.

What are you best known for?

A very patient-centered approach with close collaboration and communication. In my practice, it is important to me that patients are empowered to make better healthcare decisions as we together formulate an individualized evidence-based treatment plan which takes into account the specific needs of each patient.

What is your most memorable patient reaction?

“I haven’t been able to breathe like this for as long as I can remember. I can play with my grandkids, sing at church, and I actually feel like I will live to see another birthday”. Statements like this make my career most fulfilling.

What sets my practice apart:

The time, consideration, care, and unique individualized treatment plans to drastically improve quality of life.

What I love most about my profession is:

The end results of essentially curing patients from various manifestations of allergic processes, decreasing the burden of illness and infections by identifying and treating deficiencies of the immune system, and overall working with my patients to help them live as the best version of themselves.

What new services are you excited to offer?

New biologic therapies that are specifically targeted towards the immune system to manage chronic illnesses.
