Selena Gomez Shares Her Workout To Strengthen The Body And Mind

As long as Selena Gomez has been on the scene, she’s been an inspiration and haven for women around the world. Whether the beloved 28-year-old is demonstrating the importance of advocacy, captivating and astounding audiences with her multi-dimensionality and talent, in the production, acting, and music spheres, making it in the makeup world, or, most recently, sharing the trials, tribulations, and triumphs of her personal health journey, Selena has always been refreshingly transparent. 

There’s little that the treasured 28-year-old has kept away from the public in regard to her fitness and wellness journey, from her lupus diagnosis, kidney transplant, and recovery story, to her struggle with body-shaming and experience in dialectical behavioral therapy, Selena reveals it all and does so in a way that allows us all to see a piece of ourselves represented.

Gomez recently posted a TikTok video where she, two motivating friends, and a trainer, absolutely crush an evidently grueling workout. Yet Gomez does so with a smile on her face and a caption that coincides: “Feeling great…but also 😅.” Gomez tells it how it is, as she caps off the video by wiping the sweat off of her triumphant and fulfilled face; we see both the fatiguing intensity and sweet reward of her hard-core workout all at once.

And hard-core is merely an understatement… Selena’s workout looks incredibly demanding, complete with full-body cardio moves, weight training, including standing ab moves and reaches, as well as sumo squats. That’s not all for the fitness fanatic, she then moves on to glute-focused work and executes fire hydrants, leg lifts, and hip abductions, finally finishing with core work and stretching that you can just tell cannot be easy.

As per usual, the fresh-faced superstar was dressed to impress even while putting in the work. Wearing Puma training sneakers - not surprising as she and the brand have very successfully collaborated in the past-  and sporting her most important accessory: her radiant smile. Selena’s positivity and optimism bleed through the screen capturing her loving audience who feel confident after seeing part of themselves represented through her. Viewers make their appreciation known by commenting amongst each other: “When u have the same body type as Selena,” “Ikr 🥰 best feeling ever,” “Sameee she makes me feel so good 💗.”
