HB: What minimally invasive options do you offer to address wrinkles in the face?

There are two common rejuvenating treatments that are perfect for vibrant skin and elegant facial contours.

The first treatment uses dermal fillers such as Juvéderm, Restylane and Radiésse are excellent non-surgical treatments to improve facial contour.

The second treatment uses micro-needling with platelet-rich plasma (PRP), which is an excellent way to improve the texture and visual appeal of the skin.

HB: What is the difference between the treatments?

Dermal fillers are used to improve the contour or plump up standing non-active lines(wrinkles) and/or contours.

Microneedling treatment stimulates collagen to repair itself producing smoother skin. The PRP has growth factors that help rejuvenate by further enhancing collagen production.

HB: Who is the best candidate for each?

The best candidates have no medical issues and are non-smokers. If a client has a medical issue then a discussion the client’s primary care physician may be warranted prior to proceeding with care.

Dermal fillers are excellent for lines/wrinkles around the mouth and nose are known as parentheses lines or lines that extend from the corner of the mouth down to the jawline which is also known as marionette lines.

Microneedling with PRP is particularly good for acne scarring, large pores, reducing pigmentation and poor skin tone.

HB: Do you have a preferred method?

I do not have a preferred method or product. My philosophy revolves around individualized treatments for my client to meet their unique needs. Often I will use a combination of these methods to achieve my client’s desired goal.

HB: What is the cost for each?

Achieving the desired results in most cases requires more than one treatment.
Individual treatment for Microneedling with PRP service starts at $850 while dermal filler services start at $650
